C) FOR MASONRY APPLICATION

If using cable support, install cable brackets 1-1/2" below Proof-Roof height.
After window is set plumb and level, set Proof-Roof on top, center evenly over window. Do not attach.
Place counter flashing over uniflashing. After positioning, scribe brick at top of counter flashing.
Remove counter flashing and Proof-Roof from window and cut along scribe line into brick approximately ¾" deep (cover top of window with drop cloth before cutting to help control the brick dust).
Insulate above window prior to mounting the Proof-Roof. (Insulation is not Provided).
Install Proof-Roof as shown Installation Instruction A or B.
After fastening the uniflashing to the brick, install the counter flashing into kerf cut of brick. (fig. 1)
Insert (aluminum/copper) wedge into kerf cut above counter flashing. Position wedges at points that will best flush up the counter flashing to the Proof-Roof. Set the wedges with a small block of wood and hammer.
